Since Nigel’s birth, I have begun to write about my process of trying to strike a balance between music and baby, and about the challenges and fun of raising a road-ready baby.
I read an article about the White Stripes in which Jack White complained that people were hungry for gossip and just wanted to know what the inside of Meg’s bathroom looks like (instead of just caring about their music, I guess).
But, really, it’s helpful to have an inside peek into how other people put their lives–and bathrooms–together. It’s fun to read about, and maybe sometimes it can inspire a new arrangement. This Spring and beyond, I am eager to share my process–my mistakes, mishaps, and successes of taking Nigel along with me and my creative career, at home and on the road.
